Welcome to SOUTHLAND STUDENTS!
SOUTHLAND STUDENTS is all about helping 6th-12th graders to follow Jesus in community. We teach students, develop leaders, and partner with families to help youth to have a resilient faith that carries them into adulthood.
During the remainder of this school year, we will walk through Philippians to guide our students to Know Jesus and Live Like Him.
We gather several times a month during the school year on Sunday evenings, from 6-8pm for a time of games, devotion, and time with groups. With parent permission, leaders will reach out to students during the week with encouragement and support.
Once a month, we host an INVITE NIGHT for students to invite friends, classmates, family members to share a meal, play some games, and hear the Gospel presented. Twice a month, we host STUDENT BIBLE STUDIES which have games and Bible study.
Our goal is that students KNOW JESUS personally and are taught to LIVE LIKE HIM and how to build caring relationships. And we hope to send them out - to school, home, work - to use their influence to MAKE HIM KNOWN.
