Welcome to SOUTHLAND STUDENTS!
SOUTHLAND STUDENTS is all about helping 6th-12th graders to follow Jesus in community. We teach students, develop leaders, and partner with families to help youth to have a resilient faith that carries them into adulthood.
During this school year, we have chosen to use Mark for Teenager: How Jesus Changes Everything, by John Perritt to guide our students to Know Jesus and Live Like Him.
We gather several times a month during the school year on Sunday evenings, from 6-8pm for a time of games, devotion, and time with groups. With parent permission, leaders will reach out to students during the week with encouragement and support. The schedule for Fall 2025 is below.
Once a month, we host an INVITE NIGHT for students to invite friends, classmates, family members to share a meal, play some games, and hear the Gospel presented. Twice a month, we host STUDENT GATHERINGS which have games and Bible study.
We have also planning our 2026 Summer Camp for June 23 - 27, 2026 to mFuge in Ridgecrest, NC. mFuge combines a traditional student camp (games, worship, messages, and small groups) with opportunities to serve others in need. Please save the date if you would like your students to attend. Estimated cost is $300-400. More details to come in the Fall.
Our goal is that students KNOW JESUS personally and are taught to LIVE LIKE HIM and how to build caring relationships. And we hope to send them out - to school, home, work - to use their influence to MAKE HIM KNOWN.
