WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO "KNOW HIM"?
Knowing Jesus is a personal decision to repent of sin and trust in Him as our Lord and Savior. When we
hear the Gospel and believe in our hearts, we are saved by grace and sealed with the Holy Spirit. Then,
we celebrate new life in Christ through baptism.
We grow in our relationship with Him through the personal spiritual disciplines of repentance of sin, hearing from Him in His Word, calling out to Him in prayer, committing to a church that helps us grow as
disciples, and living on mission where God places us.
ACTION STEPS:
- Repent of sin
- Trust in Jesus
- Be baptized
- Personal Spiritual Disciplines (Prayer, Bible Study, Worship, Christian Community, Sharing the Gospel)
