WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO "KNOW HIM"?
Knowing Jesus is about growing our personal relationship with Him and connecting with Him daily. We remember that Jesus is our source of spiritual life (John 15:4-5). We draw close to Him through prayer and studying Scripture (Colossians 4:2; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). As we sit at the feet of Jesus, we receive His love, grace, peace, and direction (Matthew 11:28-30; Luke 10:38-42). We listen to and obey Jesus' voice (John 10:27; 14:15). We remember that following Jesus is a response to His completed work, and not earned by our performance (Ephesians 2:8-9).
ACTION STEP: Connect with Jesus Daily
- Spend quiet time in prayer
- Study Scripture
- Rest in the completed work of the Gospel
- Obey Jesus' voice
